Just a few simple ingredients are needed to make this simple but eye pleasing ring. Grab two store bought cans of crescent rolls, a package of cream cheese, a can of pie filling, sugar, and vanilla. I had our ring in the oven in just a couple of minutes time.

Mix first five ingredients together and set aside. Lay crescent rolls out on a baking pan in four sections (two triangles each making four squares - you may need to crimp shut the seam a bit). Spoon chicken mixture onto center of each square and pull up the corners of crescent roll over the mixture, crimping shut. Bake in a 350 oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Unroll the crescent rolls and save 4 triangles back for later. Then arrange the remaining 12 triangles in a circle with the wide end towards the outside of the circle and the pointy end towards the middle. The points will NOT meet in the middle. There should be a 2-3 inch open circle in the middle of the circle. Once all the crescent rolls are arranged gently press the gaps closed by pinching the sides of the dough together with your fingertips.
Finally, cut the 4 remaining crescent rolls into thirds with a pizza cutter. Cut from the wide end to the point. Then arrange the crescent triangular strips around the circle evenly in a spoke-like fashion pressing the dough ends together to the outside and the center.
Of course eating Cream Cheese Chicken Croissants are good, but a viewer asked what other recipe ideas could be made with crescent rolls. I was up for the challenge and here are a few of our other favorites too!
I know that working with the dough may seem a little intimidating if you have never done it before, but you got this. Seriously the scariest thing about this whole process is opening the cans of crescent rolls, that pop scares me every. dang. time. Lol.
Step 1: After opening one package of crescent rolls, unroll it onto a large sheet of parchment paper or lightly floured work surface. The longest side needs to go from left to right not up and down.
Our Christmas crowd is smaller this year (travel plans cancelled due to Covid issues). Do you think this would look OK and have the same affect if I cut this recipe in half and only used one thing of crescent rolls?
Tried these this morning, with a couple of changes, they were delicious! Omitted the cherry filling and icing (seriously too much sugar!). Went with organic products on others, as we try to avoid GMOs, and other bad ingredients. As such, we needed two packages of Immanuel brand crescent rolls, as they are smaller than Pillsbury. True minis!

NotesThe ingredient list is a guideline. Adjust items to your taste. If I only have 4 strips of bacon, I don't let it stop me. Also, I've used minced onion in these and it gives a bit of texture. I lean more to the 5 ounces of cream cheese but the original recipe only calls for 3 ounces. We just love our cream cheese.
Step 4Spoon cream cheese mixture over the wide ends of the crescent rolls. Top with pie filling. Fold pointed ends of triangles over filling, tucking pints under to form a ring. Filling will be visible.
Everyone loves pizza; savory and sweet. For this fruit pizza, I used refrigerator crescent rolls to form the crust. Then added a sweetened cream cheese frosting followed by an arrangement of fresh and canned fruit. 2ff7e9595c
